The Theatre at Ace Hotel serves as an important symbolic representation of the Downtown Los Angeles community as well as the renowned Historic Theatre District. Since the restoration of the theatre, the Ace Hotel Los Angeles as well as The Theatre has quickly attracted many people from all over the world with their vision to provide inclusive experiences for all “artists, musicians, visionaries and cultural igniters”.

 

Our project looks to observe the way the Ace Hotel brand has created a large following of over 160k followers on Instagram (@acehotel). Their brand consistency has give them the opportunities to create their own unique social media presence as well as engage and interact with their diverse audience. 

 

In the last ten years or so, there has been a significant decrease in theatre attendance due to the shift to digital. While the big challenge of breaking through still remains, The Theatre at Ace Hotel succeeds at branding by being consistent.
